This is me
Life is about stories, and I’ve been obsessed with stories since I was a kid. Talking to people and listening to their stories is my wonder, and writing those stories is my passion.
My work has appeared in magazines such as AR and Alpha, and on websites including Minyanville.com, aol.com, and msn.com.
I was born in Perth, Western Australia, and spent my formative years between Australia and Ontario, Canada. I am a graduate of Columbia University and The New School’s MFA in creative writing program.
When I’m not writing, I’m helping others write by volunteering with the New York Writers Coalition, a nonprofit that runs writing workshops for underserved populations. I also have a WSET intermediate-level wine certificate from the International Wine Center and volunteer at the Astor Center, Astor Wines & Spirits’ education arm, where they actually let me in the kitchen.
